  All titles in our vast library of films are now available on DVD-R!

Since a DVD is an exact clone of our original master, the visual quality should be slightly better than a standard VHS reproduction.

The DVD-R media our films are duplicated onto are compatible with practically all recent ( after 2000 ) DVD players.  Please read your DVD player booklet or visit online www.videoscreams.com  for compatibility charts to see if your DVD player is compatible with  DVD-R.  It is your responsibility to check to be sure your player can play DVD-R

Please take note:  These DVDs do not contain any type of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial video discs. Rather, they are digital reproductions of our analogue library prints. They are processed with chapter breaks.  Region 1  (We also now offer Region FREE PAL DVD-R for our international members)

DVD Pricing:

All DVD titles are $12.00 each and include white paper sleeves.  For titles listed with BA (Box Art), you can purchase Color Box Art with black commercial case for an additional $3.00 

Black commercial DVD cases are also available for titles that do not have color box art available for an additional $1.00 per DVD.  Be sure to note this when ordering if you do not want a white DVD sleeve only.

DVD-R Shipping & Handling:

U.S. and Canada:       1 DVD= $6.00 / each additional DVD  only $ .25

International:      1 DVD= $11.00  / each additional DVD only $1.00

DVD ( Digital Versatile Disc ) is a newer version of compact disk ( CD ). DVD has the same physical format of a CD with a data density about 8 times ( 4.7 GB ) of a CD ( 700 MB ). Furthermore, DVD could have two layers of digital information on one side. A double sided, double layered DVD has a total of 18 GB data capacity. DVD video ( we usually just call it DVD ) is a standard format for videos on a DVD. Videos are digitized and compressed into MPEG-2 data stream ( MPG file ), at a variable bit rate ( 9.8Mbit/s max. for video +  audio,  sampling at 48kHz ). The MPG file is then output to a special format on a DVD along with other control files so that it is compatible with set top DVD players . The video quality of a DVD , at a resolution of 720 X 480 for NTSC,  is better than a Super VHS tape ( with a horizontal resolution of 400 and 525 scan lines for NTSC system ). A single sided, single layered DVD could have more than 2 hours of high quality video. 

Why choose DVD-R ?  

1.          VHS won’t last as long as DVD.    

2.          DVD has superior quality. 

3.          You can access certain section of a video on a DVD much faster than video on a tape. 

4.          DVD is much smaller in volume to store compared to a tape. 

 

Compatibility

If you already have a DVD player, read your manufacturer booklet or visit our website for compatibility charts.  If you are looking for a DVD player, we recommend Daewoo DVG-5800 (multi region, multi format NTSC/PAL compatibility, not available in local stores, needed to mail order through the internet ), JVC XV-S300BK ( available in Best Buy ) and RCA RC5240P (available in Target or Radio Shack ). All 3 players are in the price range of $100.   We are not responsible for problems due to incompatibility of your DVD player with our media.

3.) I, the undersigned purchaser do fully admit that by the signing of this agreement I am of my own free will entering into a legally binding contract of agreement not to use this purchase in any way to adversely affect the sellers, suppliers, shippers and or carriers, creators, manufacturers, advertisers and distributors business or person.
4.) I, the undersigned purchaser certify that I am over the age of eighteen (18) years and wish to enter into a legally binding contract.
5.) I, the undersigned purchaser agree that this VHS or DVD-R Purchase Agreement / Waiver shall become effective upon delivery and receipt of video cassette(s) or DVD-R (s) ordered and remain effective regardless of the identity of recipient of the videocassette (s) or DVD-R (s).
6.) I, the undersigned agree that I am paying monies for labor (transfer and/or archival) done ) & materials (video cassette(s) & DVD-R(s) ). I further agree that I am not paying monies for any intellectual matter contained upon the videotape within the video cassettes(s) or DVD-R(s) . I also agree that I in no way shall hold
the seller and or supplier liable for the release of any intellectual matter which may be contained upon the actual video cassette(s) or DVD-R(s).
